A fuzzy bumble surrounded with pink flowers has been wood burned by hand onto this basswood slice. The bumble bee has tons of texture and actually looks fuzzy. I’ve painted the bumble bee yellow and white with the flowers a dark shade of pink and green watercolors. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect against the elements. There is a jute cord attached to the top for ease of hanging. Keep out of direct UV light to prevent fading of the burn and paint.
