I have hand burned a crescent moon and stars onto this birch wood slice. The moon is painted with three different shades of white acrylic paint, a pearl white, a silver white and a color shift white that shifts to a pale purple. The stars are painted a metallic gold. There are two neodymium magnets on the back. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect against the elements.
