I have wood burned a little pea standing up with a smirk on his face onto this birch plywood bookmark. The words “pea standing up” are burned in a vintage typewriter font above the pea. After burning this little dude I stained the wood a darker brown then painted the pea green. There are two coats of polyurethane to help protect against the elements. The tassel is made of a dark brown leather that is tied into a simple knot.
