I have hand burned the phrase “You say witch like it’s a bad thing” with a bubbling cauldron underneath onto this birch plywood bookmark then stained the wood a gunstock brown. The cauldron was painted black and the bubbling liquid inside green. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect against the elements. The tassel on top is made of a dark brown leather that is tied into a simple knot.
