I have hand burned my favorite flower, the peony onto this slice of tamarack wood. The flower is painted a dark coral to white ombre with a dark green leaf. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect from the elements. I recommend avoiding direct UV light while displaying this piece as it will cause the paint and burn to fade. I’ve burned my signature on the back and attached a metal hook for hanging.
