This vibrant hibiscus has been wood burned by hand onto a slice of bass wood. The flower petals have been painted a vibrant yellow with pink in the center. There is a single leaf that has been painted green. I painted this hibiscus to be as realistic as possible. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect against the elements. I recommend avoiding direct exposure to UV light when displaying this piece as the light will cause the paint and burn to fade. I have wood burned my signature on the back and attached a metal hook for hanging.
