I have hand burned three mushrooms in the grass onto this birch plywood bookmark then stained the wood with two different colors of brown. The mushrooms have been painted a shimmery pink and the grass a vibrant green. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect against the elements. The tassel on top is made of a dark brown leather that is tied into a simple knot.
