I have hand burned a simple textured fern leaf onto this birch plywood bookmark then stained the wood a gunstock brown. A white border has been added to the edge for a bit of extra detail. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect against the elements. The tassel on top is made of a dark brown leather that is tied into a simple knot.
