I have hand burned a pixies parasol mushroom onto this birch plywood bookmark then stained the wood a rich dark brown. The mushroom has been painted with a shimmery blue watercolor to look like a pixies parasol. Two coats of polyurethane have been applied to help protect against the elements. The tassel on top is made of a dark brown leather that is tied into a simple knot.
