A sunny scene with waves and a palm tree have been wood burned by hand onto this birchwood slice. Oxnard. CA EST 1903 has been burned around the outside of the sunny waves. I’ve painted this ornament in vibrant shades of blue, yellow and orange watercolor with white accents on the waves then sealed it with three coats of polyurethane to help protect against the elements. There is a jute cord attached to the top for ease of hanging. Keep out of direct UV light to prevent fading of the burn and paint.
