A sunny scene with curled waves has been hand burned onto this basswood slice with Ventura, CA burned just above the waves. I’ve painted this ornament in vibrant shimmery shades of blue, yellow and white acrylic paint then sealed it with three coats of polyurethane to help protect against the elements. There is a jute cord attached to the top for ease of hanging. Keep out of direct UV light to prevent fading of the burn and paint.
