Beautiful curled waves have been wood burned by hand onto this birchwood slice with Oxnard, CA burned just above the waves. I’ve painted the waves in vibrant shades of blue and white watercolor with shimmery blue accents on the waves. The ornament has been sealed with three coats of polyurethane to help protect against the elements. There is a jute cord attached to the top for ease of hanging. Keep out of direct UV light to prevent fading of the burn and paint.
